I too shall one day be
Wise enough to have them.
I too shall then quote
From all my experience,
And justify why it
Is best the way it is.
But till that time,
Allow me to be idealistic
Allow me to be romantic
Allow me to be unrealistic.
For the moment let me
Live my passion.
If you can, drive me crazy
Drive me utopian.
I don't want to wake up
So soon and be mature
To the reality of life.
Let me still stay immature.
As I try again and falter
And see my dreams shatter,
Broken heart soaks bitter.
But to have tried feels better.
